Alvinda Putri Ruriana

Analyst, Climate Programme

Alvinda currently manages projects examining women’s vulnerability to forest and land fires in Indonesia, as well as conducting feminist policy analysis on Indonesia’s energy transition.

She previously served for nearly two years as Lead Researcher at Veritas Institute of Politics, where she led research initiatives and policy analysis on political and governance issues. In addition to her role at GSHR, she is actively conducting research on women and climate resilience, works as a professional English tutor at Englishvit, and manages her own education business focused on learning development and capacity building. Her broader research interests include the intersection of women’s studies with climate resilience, electoral politics, and migration.

Alvinda holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Universitas Brawijaya, where she focused her research on women’s studies with an intersectional approach to climate resilience, electoral politics, and migration.
