Annisa supports GSHR’s Sexuality Programme by contributing to campaigns, educational initiatives, and community-based engagements that advance sexual rights, gender diversity, and LGBTQIA+ inclusion.

Since 2025, she has initiated Forum Akal Rasa in Balikpapan, a community platform fostering critical dialogue and reflective writing. She has mentored dozens of emerging writers in publishing poetry and essays, and supported young women aspiring to become first-generation university graduates. Her work consistently advances diversity and justice through storytelling and intersectional perspectives.

She holds a degree in Islamic Cultural History from UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Her academic work explored women’s historical figures using an intersectional feminist approach.
