Analyst, Climate Programme

Aura contributes to research and policy analysis on climate governance topics, such as Indonesia’s energy transition policies and disaster risk management in urban areas, through gender and human rights perspectives at GSHR.

She has experience working across development and regional cooperation institutions, including GIZ Indonesia, ASEAN, and the ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation, where she supported project implementation, stakeholder engagement, and research on climate issues, the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda, and industrial decarbonisation. She has also represented Indonesia at international forums, including Nanyang Technological University’s Youth Regional Affairs Dialogue (YRAD) 2023 on economic, political, and social issues affecting Asia. Her work and passion centres on humanitarianism and climate security within international governance contexts.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Universitas Indonesia and was also selected for the Indonesia International Mobility Awards to study EU governance and migration at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
