Namira Rahma Putri

Analyst, Climate Programme

Namira serves as a Climate Analyst at GSHR, contributing research on climate change issues with an emphasis on gendered vulnerabilities. Her work focuses on women’s vulnerability to forest and land fires in Indonesia, addressing the factors that influence disaster management and gender inequalities.

With a foundation in urban planning, she developed an interest in climate change and sustainable urban development. She was an intern at UCLG ASPAC for the Climate Resilience and Inclusive Cities project (2022), supporting project implementation, capacity building, and research on urban climate action. Currently working as a project administrator, she continues to engage with the local climate community, participating in initiatives like Climate Fresk and Climate Rangers Jakarta.

Namira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from Pradita University, with her final research focused on designing adaptive neighbourhood green spaces in Rusunawa Pulogebang.
