Joined various activities in social movements as a volunteer, including the Tanah Baru Community Cooperative, Perempuan Komponis, and Labs. One of the editors at the beginning of Jurnal Perempuan, later on created the tabloid CERMIN perempuan memandang dunia (Women’s Mirror: Women’s View of the World) for young feminists with support from YLBHI.
Her most recent research activity was with LBH Apik West Java and the National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan) on Delayed Justice in Cases of Violence Against Women. She also wrote a study on Indigenous Peoples as second-class citizens. She has worked in the national parliament for more than 10 years.
A graduate of History from the University of Indonesia, she pursued a master’s degree at STF Driyarkara and is currently studying law. She considers herself an art enthusiast.
